CONDITION of Merchandise

Nothing that has lived a full life is perfect…so please read our condition report carefully.  As these are vintage and antique items there will almost always be some type of wear or patina. We do our best to describe each item accurately and honestly to ensure satisfied customers. We are available and happy to discuss any condition questions you may have. RETURNS 

We want you to love what you see when it arrives - if not we will work with you. Any item you purchase from our website may be returned with 7 days of receiving it. This can be arranged with us prior to return shipping. The buyer will be responsible for shipping costs. The item must also be returned in the same condition it was received. Any item may be retuned in person at our store for full credit or refund in kind, for 30 days after purchase. Items delivered in the bay area may be returned for a full refund within 7 days – although the initial delivery fee will not be returned.

 

PAYMENTS

PayPal, Credit Card (Visa, Master Card or American Express) and Cash (in store only) are the Accepted Methods of Payments. We do not accept checks, cashier’s checks or money orders. Phone orders may require that you provide some additional information to us – this is for your security which is of the upmost importance to us. No payment information will ever be stored unless specifically requested that it be done so by you. All processing terminals and online processing methods used by Sonoma Nesting Company are the most up to date and secure in the industry.

Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason your credit card will be fully refunded.  

  

SHIPPING, FREIGHT & DELIVERY

Within 48 hours of ordering - most orders are shipped, excluding weekends and should arrive within 5-10 Days. We use the following carriers to deliver our orders: USPS,UPS and FedEx. UPS is our most used carrier and we provide them your e-mail so you know right where your package is and when it will arrive. If there is a delay, we will notify you by phone or email. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. Please contact us if expedited delivery is necessary.

San Francisco Bay Area Delivery is available for many Items.  Our affordable rates are based upon the area you live and  a surcharge may be added for multiple stairs or special circumstances.  It is the purchasers responsibilty to ensure that doorways and hallways will accomodate the purchase.  Please contact us with concerns and we will help determine accessability.

Freight items will be delivered by PLYCON Shipping. Freight items will be blanket wrapped and insured and will arrive in 2-4 weeks. You will be contacted by a PLYCON representative to arrange delivery once the item has reached the area. The carrier will not be able to assemble any item and a surcharge may be added for stairs or special circumstances. Contact us and we will work with you to arrange the solution that works best.

Our packaging, packing paper, gift boxes and shipping boxes are mostly reused or recycled materials and we package every item carefully and as environmentally responsibly as possible.  If your item is a gift or you would prefer all new packaging please let us know in the "notes to seller" at checkout.

We require a signature when your item is received to ensure that it has arrived safe and sound. Please inspect immediately to ensure no damage has occurred in transit. Please inspect your items for damage and inform us within 5 days of receipt if there are any problems. Sonoma Nesting Company will not be responsible for any damage that has not been reported within 5 days of receipt. We will not ship to a PO Box.

 

SHIPPING RATES

Remember, small businesses don’t get the shipping breaks that the megalithic corporations do…but we do our best to offset shipping costs by offering fine quality items at great prices. Our shipping charges are intended only compensate the carrier and Sonoma Nesting Company does not charge additional processing, handling and packing costs. The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight and dimensions of your selections as well as your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be. We have implemented the use of shipping calculators at checkout to ensure the best rates. 

 

FINISHING TOUCHES

Is your order a gift? Sonoma Nesting Company can include a message card from you for no extra charge. You can let us know what message you would like to send in the “notes to seller” field on the checkout page. Gift wrapping of some items is available – Just Ask.

Gift Certificates in any amount are available and are fun and easy to use for on-line shopping or in person when visiting our store.
