Amazing Royal Copenhagen teapot in the highly desirable Blue Fluted Full Lace pattern, one of the ceramics maker's most famous lines.  Playful shape made particularly memorable by the addition of a pair of comical, grotesque gargoyle faces beneath the spout and handle.  Fine porcelain with delicate fluted ridges and handpainted cobalt blue pattern.  Produced by Royal Copenhagen (established 1775) in Denmark in the 1960s, from the design by Arnold Krog.  Stamped on bottom and marked with the style number, 1119.
