 Midcentury Scandinavian case sofa, excellently cared for, made by Komfort of Denmark in the Danish modern style then prevalent.  Warm-toned teak wood, polished steel legs, and original upholstery in a taupe, slubby-textured fabric. Furniture maker Komfort's three designers produced seating and tables in the 1950's and 1960's featuring clean lines and right angles.

Sofa includes an additional set of well-made slipcovers in a snow-white fabric with serpentine brocaded pattern, in pristine condition.
